Get support for your mental healthcare needs.
I provide both short and long-term therapy and we will discuss the planned duration of our work together during our initial session. Each therapy session will last 50 minutes, and if you prefer there may be activities to complete on your own outside of sessions, for example journaling, or completing a mood diary.
Every few weeks we will review progress and determine if you feel the therapy is helpful to you, and if any further work is necessary. I will see you on a weekly or fortnightly basis, at a time agreed between us.
Getting started…
Your therapy, your way
You can choose from three session types: online, in person or walk-and-talk.
In our first session, we’ll discuss what brought you to counselling, any previous experiences you may have had and what your preferences are in our work together so that I can tailor the therapy to your needs.
Choose the right session for you
-
In-person
I offer in-person therapy sessions at a welcoming and quiet space in the heart of Aberdeen city centre. Meeting face-to-face can create a deeper sense of connection and trust, helping you feel more grounded and supported.
-
Walk and talk
Walk and talk sessions take place in quiet parks or trails in Deeside and Donside. As a trained Health Walk Leader, I assess each route to ensure it’s safe and suitable. Walking side-by-side in nature can ease anxiety and offer a calming space to process thoughts.
-
Online
Online sessions are conducted via Zoom, allowing you to access therapy from the comfort of your own space. I’ll send you a private secure link ahead of each session. All you need is a quiet, private area and a stable internet connection.
